The right lower quadrant (RLQ) is a part of your abdomen. The section from the bottom of your ribs down to your pubic hair is divided into four quarters. The section on your right side under your belly button is your RLQ.

What are the organs of the right lower quadrant?

  • The association between your small bowel and your large bowel (caecum).

  • The first section of your large bowel (colon).

Causes of right lower quadrant pain
